Staff Bio
Kate Albright-Jenkins (she/her/hers). Kate has joined Transhealth as our Practice Manager. Kate comes to us with 15 years of management experience and extensive experience working as a manager and director in various medical and mental health settings. Kate strives to ensure high-quality care for each of her patients and is excited to join a team dedicated to providing gender-affirming care.
Kate is currently attending Southern New Hampshire University to obtain her degree in Healthcare Administration with a concentration in Health Information Management. She has two courses left and will graduate with honors this June. While working in the mental health field, Kate started a reading literacy program for members of the clubhouse where she worked. She then moved on to run a residential program before getting into the medical field as an EMT and EMS Coordinator for the Fire Department she volunteered for. To gain more experience, Kate assisted in opening a multi-specialty practice and worked with Athena Health to implement the EMR. Once she moved to Western Massachusetts, she once again moved up and accepted a position as the Patient Access Manager of a local hospital where she developed positive relationships with all departments and assisted with the implementation of a new EHR, Cerner. Kate has also served as a Student Consultant for Spaulding Rehabilitation Network. During this time she created a plan for how to improve communications within an interdepartmental team and assisted in developing a strategic proposal to convert established beds to chronic long-term ventilator beds in their skilled nursing facility in Brighton, MA.
When she is not at work Kate loves to go camping with her family, cooking/baking, and woodworking.
